Delete Your DadVice Data

DadVice does not use accounts or sign-in. Your saved quotes and preferences are tied to a random device ID created by the app. You can permanently delete this data from within the app, or by contacting us. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Delete Your Data From the App

1. Open the DadVice app on your Android phone or iPhone.
2. On the Today tab, tap the Settings gear (top right).
3. Scroll to Preferences and tap Delete My Data.
4. Confirm when prompted. Your data is removed immediately.

Delete Your Data By Email

If you no longer have the app, email us at contact@dadvice.app with the subject line "Delete My Data." Because DadVice has no accounts, tell us roughly when you last used the app and on which kind of phone, and we will help identify and remove your data. We will respond within 7 business days.

What Gets Deleted

• Your saved quotes
• Your preferences (life situation, child stage, daily reminder setting)
• Your AI permission choice and all other DadVice data stored on your device
• Your daily reminder
• Your analytics ID, which is reset so future analytics are no longer linked to past activity

What May Be Retained

• Purchase and transaction records held by Apple, Google, and our payments provider, as required for tax and financial compliance
• Anonymous analytics and crash reports already collected, until they expire (up to 14 months and 90 days respectively)
• Text previously sent to Anthropic with your permission, which Anthropic keeps only for a limited period under its commercial terms

Note about active subscriptions: Deleting your data does not cancel an active Apple or Google Play subscription. To stop billing, also cancel the subscription in your device's App Store or Google Play settings.
