Delete Your DadVice Account

You can permanently delete your DadVice account and all associated data from within the app or by contacting us directly. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Delete Your Account From the App
- Open the DadVice app on your Android or iPhone.
- Tap the Settings icon (bottom right).
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted. Your account and data will be removed immediately.
Delete Your Account By Email
If you cannot access the app, email us at contact@dadvice.app from the email address linked to your account. Include the subject line "Delete My Account." We will process your request within 7 business days.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your account credentials and sign-in information
- Your saved favorite quotes
- Your user profile and preferences (life situation, child stage, notification times)
- Your device notification tokens
- Your subscription entitlement records
What May Be Retained
We may retain limited records as required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes, including:
- Transaction records required for tax and financial compliance (typically 7 years)
- Anonymized, aggregated usage data that cannot be linked back to you
Note about active subscriptions: Deleting your DadVice account does not automatically cancel an active Apple or Google Play subscription. To cancel billing, also cancel the subscription in your device's App Store or Google Play settings.
